ROSS LOVEGROVE + TEAM VISIT THE GOOD MOD

We had a surprise visit from contemporary designer Ross Lovegrove and his team today. It was a pleasure to meet a truly innovative designer such as Mr. Lovegrove and to share our growing space with him. Here are some images from an impromptu shoot on our rooftop. We supplied the props, he provided some art direction & a subject!

Ping Pong/Table Tennis Conference Table

Here is our most recent creation! A one-of-a-kind Ping Pong/Table Tennis conference table.

Crafted here in the Good Mod workshop with the design industry in mind. We have put a lot of time and effort into making the ultimate conference table. This table would be perfect for any creative workplace or avid table tennis enthusiast. 

The top features a center line of flush brass inlay, adding a stylish dividing line that meshes perfectly with the table's natural tones. The legs are custom fabricated steel, and have been powder-coated a vibrant orange. 

We would love for you to come visit & try it out! All tables are completely custom, ensuring that every detail fits seamlessly into its new environment.

Peter Hvidt

Inspired by Charles and Ray Eames, Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielsen designed the first danish chiar, AX, with a seat and back made of double curved laminated wood. The AX chair was produced by Fritz Hansen; the laminate glueing technique they used was borrowed from the tennis racket industry. This discovery allowed furniture to be manufactured quickly and disassembled for shipping without compromising the quality. As a result the market for danish furniture expanded and eventually lead to Denmark's domination over the modern furniture industry.
