Centrl Office Reception Desk
Centrl Office, a co-working space, commissioned The Good Mod to design and fabricate their 35 foot cantilevered steel and black glulam reception desk. This desk resides in their office in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. The desk offers stool seating or cushion-seating, as seen in the second photo.
Centrl Office came to us with a challenging project to design and fabricate a 35 foot cantilevered steel and black glulam reception desk. The reception desk had to serve three purposes: a place for reception, a place for refreshments such as beer and kombucha on tap, and counter space for people to work. This desk resides in their office in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles.
We used Glulam beams because they are stronger than steel- fun fact! It took all departments in our business to bring this idea to life - including metal working, fabrication, and design.

Walnut Conference Table for GBD Architects
We worked with local GBD Architectural Firm to create a custom walnut conference table for their office renovation in the heart of the Pearl District.
The standing height conference table was intended to streamline workflow and provide a gathering place for their talented team of architects. This 10-foot table features over-sized finger joints.

This is the planed solid wood surface before assembly and finish.
The conference table pairs well with the Compass Stool.
